Day 1: Arrival & Lakeside Warm-Up

• We’ll pick you up in Queenstown and journey south through alpine passes and rolling high country to Te Anau, the heart of Fiordland. In the afternoon, stretch your legs with a scenic loop on the Circle Track in Manapouri—an easy-going walk with big payoffs: lake vistas, forest quiet, and your first real taste of the wild. That evening, settle into your accommodation and ease into the pace of the trip.

Day 2: Milford Sound and Key Summit Walk

• A day of icons. We travel deep into the mountains to experience a cruise on world-famous Milford Sound—towering cliffs, thundering waterfalls, and ancient rainforest all around. In the afternoon, lace up for the Key Summit track on the Routeburn: a short alpine hike with massive views and rich interpretation of Fiordland’s unique ecosystems.

Day 3: Epic Kepler Heli-Hike  

• This is your big alpine moment. We lift off by helicopter for a scenic flight into the Kepler Mountains, landing high above Lake Te Anau near Luxmore Hut. Hike across exposed ridgelines with jaw-dropping panoramas, reach the summit, then descend through beech forest to the lake edge for a boat pick-up. An epic day, end to end.

Day 4: Rest & Sail into Silence  

• Take the morning slow—enjoy a sleep-in or explore Te Anau’s cafés and lakeside tracks at your own pace. In the afternoon, board a luxury vessel for your overnight Doubtful Sound cruise. Glide past towering walls of green, waterfalls tumbling from misty heights, and into one of Aotearoa’s most serene, untouched environments.

Day 5: Dawn in Doubtful & Return

• Wake surrounded by deep stillness and rising light on the fjord. After breakfast onboard, we cruise back to shore and begin the return drive to Queenstown. Expect to arrive mid to late afternoon—refreshed, humbled, and carrying the kind of stories only Fiordland can give.
