Day 1 – Into the Mountains
-
Kick off with a pick-up from your Queenstown stay, then enjoy a stunning drive through the Mackenzie Basin toward Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park. In the afternoon, stretch your legs on the Hooker Valley Track—one of New Zealand’s most iconic alpine walks, with swing bridges, glacier rivers, and a rewarding view across Hooker Lake to the towering peaks beyond.
Day 2 – Glaciers, Icebergs & the Big View
-
We begin with a short morning walk to the Tasman Lake Viewpoint—an easy trail with high reward. Then climb aboard the Glacier Explorer Boat for a rare close-up look at icebergs and the Tasman Glacier. In the afternoon, take to the skies with a scenic flight and breathtaking glacier landing—a moment to truly stand inside the landscape.
Day 3 – Stairways & Stargazing Country
-
Today we ascend to Sealy Tarns—600+ steps that bring us into the sky with views that stay with you long after. That afternoon, we travel to Lake Tekapo: alpine blue, ringed with peaks, and home to your next reward—a soak in the Tekapo hot pools under big skies.
Day 4 – Horses & Highlands
-
Wrap your journey with an unforgettable alpine horse trek, weaving through the high-country trails above Tekapo. After a final lakeside moment, we travel back to Queenstown in the afternoon—legs a little tired, soul a little louder.
Where the air feels thinner, and the stories run deep.
